Spreading the LOVE of God

 

Sunday School Classes

10:40 - 11:30 AM

 

Nursery (infant - 2 yrs.)

The Nursery is supervised by one of our regular Early Learning Center teachers. Class is mostly play or nap time, but may include a Bible story.

 

Children's Classes  (3 yrs. - 6th grade) 

Preschool (3 yrs. - K) – uses the DVD based “Live Big” curriculum from Cokesbury along with the student book and suggested additional topics. Includes music as the Cherub Choir.
 
Elementary (1st - 6th grade) -  uses the "Live Big" curriculum as a guide, which includes: DVD's, games, cooking, crafts; applies the Sunday School lessons and Bible verses to everyday life; discusses daily life issues.
 
Youth (7th grade - 12th grade) – discussion-based lessons on peer issues, the Bible, and life-help using activities involving different ways of learning.
 
 
Adult Classes (18 - ??)
 
TLC – discussion about a scriptural take on life issues. A welcoming class with very lively discussions that loves to have new people of all ages.
 
Friendship – Bible lessons in the New Testament using question and answer format, with a lot of class discussion.
 
Wesley – lecture and discussion with topics chosen by the teacher. A laid-back, friendly class that includes members from 50 to 85 years. Everyone is welcome.
 
Pairs & Spares – Bible lessons from Genesis to Revelation using lecture and discussion, including question and answer. Most members are over 60, but not limited to that age. The class is young at heart, welcoming to new members, friendly and enthusiastic. Members love the Lord and each other, being faithful and supportive. They have bonded as a family, are very informal and learn from each other.
